COVID-19 Level 2

We all know how the COVID-19 virus is affecting New Zealand and the rest of the world, so we thought it would be a good time to share our procedures while we’re in Level 2.

  • All of our vans have a COVID-19 QR Code Tracking poster in the front passenger area. This is only for any staff or family members accompanying our mobility clients. As per regulations, we do require that this is scanned, however we also have a manual register for non smartphone users.

  • We do not require our mobility clients to scan or sign in. The Ministry of Health have confirmed that our daily run sheet showing each trip is sufficient for tracking purposes should they require it.

  • We will be regularly cleaning all of the touch surfaces in our vans, and we have hand sanitiser available for driver and passenger use.

  • Although we are not a taxi service MVD is considered public transport, so our drivers are required to wear masks as per the regulations. Passengers are not required to wear masks in small passenger transport services, however, we encourage you to wear these if it makes you more comfortable.

Once we return to Level 1 conditions, we will reassess our procedures and advise accordingly.

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or suggestions - we’re always happy to work with you to provide the most comfortable service possible!
